Description: Forge Institute seeks an experienced Cyber Analyst / Customer Service Representative responsible for managing repository data collection surrounding cyber incidents in Arkansas. This individual must be service-oriented and expected to prepare reports to create standard operating procedures and best practices based on the collected data. The analyst will also be responsible for writing, presenting, and communicating to Forge Institute’s team, customers, and partners. 

Challenges You Will Solve: Forge Institute’s ACDC strives to be the leader in assisting public and private sector Arkansas-based organizations impacted by cyber incidents and events. The ACDC is helping organizations be more aware, prepared, and able to identify, respond, recover, and mitigate future incidents and events; analysts conduct in-depth analysis to provide context and help prioritize detection and response efforts. Organizations face many threats, and the threat landscape is constantly changing. You will play an integral part in helping the team determine future capabilities. 

Your responsibilities as a member of our team will include but are not limited to:

  • Collect self-reported data attributed to cyber incidents within Arkansas.

  • Identify patterns and trends in detections and write actionable insights about trends we are observing, how customers can respond to them, and why they are relevant.

  • Produce reports and communicate actionable insights based on analysis, both internally and externally to customers and the community.

  • Conduct analysis to identify unique or emerging advisory behaviors that impact ACDC customers

What You'll Bring:

  •  Previous experience in the fields of cybersecurity, customer service, and communicating

  • A desire to work collaboratively and tackle new challenges as part of a rapidly evolving team and fast-growing company.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including communicating technical concepts in a clear, understandable format to non-subject matter experts.

  •  Demonstrated ability to perform open-source cybersecurity research of cybersecurity best practices

  • An inquisitive mind and the curiosity to dive into data and better understand threats.

  • Ability to quickly learn new tools.

 Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with national security-related areas in cybersecurity and cybercrime

  • Experience with cyber operations

  • Creative problem solving

  • Establishing and measuring important key performance indicators (KPIs)
