ICS/SCADA Cyber Professional

Full-Time, Part-Time and Contract Positions Available

Description:

Forge Institute seeks multiple ICS/SCADA Cyber professionals who will be responsible for developing curriculum, hands-on labs, teaching, conducting student assessments and delivery of other key components of our cyber training programs. Additionally, be involved in public and private assessments, identifying risk and vulnerabilities. 

If selected, you’ll work with a dynamic, fast-paced team dedicated to operationalizing public and private (current and future) cyber professionals. You’ll need to comprehend all aspects of “Cyber” and “Cybersecurity” and be able to apply your technical expertise to quickly identify gaps in the content, curriculum, course objectives, processes and other aspects of our training programs. Be able to analyze and research new technologies and techniques and constantly improve all aspects of our training courses. You’ll need to work closely with a variety of public and private partners and comply with, implement, and sustain all aspects of security within our organization. 

This position requires some ability to travel, a positive attitude and is based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Some remote options may be considered. Compensation is commensurate with position and experience. Contractors should apply.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree and 6+ years of experience with Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) focused around cyber defense, cyber infrastructure, cyber incident response, and vulnerability assessments. 

  • Experience with computer network protocols and operations

  • Knowledge of Cyber intrusion and threats, vectors, malware, networking, and monitoring

  • Knowledge of all aspects of security: physical, personnel, and systems. 

  • Ability to write concise operating procedures and policies

  • Applicants must have the ability to possess a TS/SCI Clearance, current eligibility preferred.

  • Vast industry experience in ICS/SCADA (Examples: power, water, oil, gas, manufacturing, etc.)

  • Expertise in IT and OT environments; ability to analyze, interpret, identify and provide recommendations to systems and programs to meet best practices and standards from public, regulatory, and private sector requirements

  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, RTUs and their interaction with IT and OT systems

  • Experience with in-residence and virtual instruction, teaching Cyber KSAs and TTPs

  • Experience with the use of industry-standard digital forensics tools and procedures

  • Experience with teaching, coaching, and assessing students and professionals in a multitude of cyber-related topics

  • Experience with providing hands-on training, maintenance, sustainment, engineering, developing scenarios, on both physical and virtual environments

  • Experience with penetration testing
