Dugan Stem

As a Cyber Analyst for Forge Institute’s Arkansas Cyber Defense Center, Dugan prioritizes the cybersecurity posture of small businesses and other organizations through awareness of cyber threats and conducting training on best practices and ways to strengthen organizations’ cyber hygiene. Dugan manages many of the activities within the Arkansas Cyber Defense Center (ACDC) including the strategic development of the operations center and the analysis of cybersecurity trends within Arkansas. While working with Forge Institute, Dugan continues his pursuit of a BA in Cybersecurity Technology and Threat Hunting through the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Dugan was selected by Forge Institute out of one hundred applicants to attend their Fellowship through the DoD Skillbridge program. Before detaching from the 704th MI Brigade and the National Security Agency as an Army Counter-terrorism Intelligence Analyst he worked on target threat analysis and reported to multiple agencies throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia on missions. His duties included the interception and reporting of signals of known targets within terrorist organizations. Dugan was responsible for tracking, locating, profiling, and developing networks of those targets; to be subsequently reported to federal agencies in a collaborative effort to protect the U.S. and its partners.
