Corbin Springer

Hello, my name is Corbin Springer and I enlisted in the Air Force in 2017 not too long after I graduated high school in Denton, Texas. I was assigned to Dover Air Force Base as a C-5M Super Galaxy aerospace maintenance journeyman. I mostly worked in the Isochronical inspection hanger doing large scale inspections on the aircraft. I served for 6 years and toward the end of my enlistment I realized I wanted to work on something more with my mind than my body and I always had a knack for computers after building my own computer for personal use. I was honored to be offered a position at Forge Institute as a fellow. Over the course of my 4-month fellowship I was able to peek behind the curtain and see what a cybersecurity job would look like, and I will now be attending Western Governors University to obtain a bachelor’s in software development.
